Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to the organization's data and systems.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard confidential information and protect against cyber threats.
• Monitor network traffic and security logs to detect and respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into various IT projects and initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to recommend and implement improvements to the security posture.
• Perform regular security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments to maintain a robust security infrastructure.
• Investigate security incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on security best practices and raise security awareness across the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
• Proven experience in information security, with 5 to 8 years of relevant work in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
• Familiarity with security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Strong understanding of network and system security principles.
• Proficiency in security tools and software for threat detection, analysis, and mitigation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
• Ability to adapt to evolving threats and technologies and keep the organization's security posture current.
