We are seeking an experienced Informatica Platform Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize Informatica PowerCenter environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica architecture, Unix, SQL, and Oracle databases, with the ability to ensure smooth ETL operations, system performance, and security compliance.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and administer Informatica PowerCenter software and tools, including familiarity with IDMC.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve Informatica server and ETL workflow issues.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security settings.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, backups, and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with development and data teams to support ETL processes and data integration workflows.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and performance standards.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Informatica PowerCenter Administrator.
- Strong understanding of Informatica architecture and components.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux, SQL, and Oracle database.
- Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter cloud solutions and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is preferred.
- Familiarity with security concepts, including encryption, digital certificates, SSL/TLS, and access controls.
- In-depth knowledge of file transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a standard office environment; occasional on-call and after-hours support may be required.
