Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS/IDMC) Administrator

We are seeking a highly experienced Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/IICS) professional with deep expertise in cloud data integration administration, platform governance, and automation. The role involves architecting, managing, and optimizing enterprise-scale IDMC environments to ensure security, scalability, and performance. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end command over the Informatica Cloud ecosystem and a strong background in PowerCenter and Application Integration.

Required Technical/Functional Skills

• Extensive experience in Informatica Cloud (IICS/IDMC) administration and enterprise-scale deployments.

• Strong knowledge of cloud data integration, application integration, API management, and data governance (CDGC).

• Expertise in PowerCenter migration to IDMC and hybrid cloud environments.

• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, orchestration, and data governance principles.

• Proficiency in secure agent architecture, configurations, and lifecycle management.

• Experience in SAML/SSO, user roles, and security policies management.

• Advanced troubleshooting skills using agent logs, activity logs, and REST API diagnostics.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead administration and strategic management of the Informatica IDMC environment, covering:

  • Data Integration

  • Application Integration (process/service APIs and API gateways)

  • API Management

  • Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC)

• Manage security models, including user roles, policies, and SAML/SSO configurations.

• Collaborate with enterprise IT teams to ensure network, proxy, and firewall configurations meet IDMC connectivity requirements.

• Partner with Informatica support and engineering teams for issue resolution and platform enhancements.

• Manage parameterization, runtime environments, and connection governance for enterprise workloads.

• Oversee migration of PowerCenter workloads to IDMC, ensuring minimal disruption and compliance.

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis using logs and diagnostic tools.

• Ensure adherence to best practices in ETL, data pipelines, and data governance across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Proven experience in IICS/IDMC administration in enterprise environments.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, security, and automation tools is highly desirable.
