We are seeking an experienced Informatica Administrator with expertise in Linux environments to manage the installation, configuration, migration, performance tuning, and support of the Informatica platform. This role involves ensuring smooth ETL operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining system security and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage version upgrades and migrations of workflows and configurations across environments (Dev, QA, Production).
• Oversee the configuration, security, and connectivity of Informatica components (PowerCenter, DEI, Repository Service).
• Work with Systems Admins, Network Admins, DBAs, and management to implement changes and ensure system uptime.
• Optimize job and workflow performance, ensuring efficient ETL processes.
• Administer user roles, permissions, and security settings.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies for Informatica repositories and configurations.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and provide support for Informatica-related queries.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations and processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Informatica Admin experience, especially on Linux platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and DEI (Big Data Edition).
• Experience with PowerCenter upgrades and migrations.
• Familiarity with Hadoop, IICS, and cloud technologies is a plus.
• Expertise in configuring and managing Informatica PowerCenter, Repository Service, and Integration Service.
• Experience with performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting in Informatica environments.
• Scripting skills (Shell, Python) are a plus.
