We are seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure security and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing secure identity solutions in FedRAMP High-compliant environments. This role requires deep knowledge of authentication, authorization, privileged access management, security monitoring, incident response, and cyber security best practices.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Manage and secure Azure environments, including identity, access control, logging, and configuration management.
- Configure and administer Microsoft Entra ID B2B and B2C identity solutions.
- Implement and manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), including security keys and smart card authentication.
- Configure and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Just-in-Time (JIT) access.
- Monitor Azure security alerts, audit logs, and perform log analytics using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Investigate security events, perform alert triage, and support incident response activities.
- Implement security hardening and vulnerability management across Azure environments.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with security, engineering, compliance, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure production solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience securing FedRAMP High compliant Azure environments.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including B2B and B2C.
- Experience implementing and managing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Strong knowledge of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Just-in-Time (JIT) access.
- Solid understanding of Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) principles.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, security alerts, and audit logs.
- Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and cyber security hardening.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in highly regulated cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft security and compliance services.
- Familiarity with Azure governance, security policies, and identity best practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments.
