We are seeking an experienced IBM WebSphere MQ Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IBM MQ administration and a solid understanding of clustering and high availability configurations. As part of the team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the IBM MQ environment and ensuring its reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain IBM WebSphere MQ systems.
• Implement and manage IBM MQ clustering and high availability configurations.
• Write and maintain scripts (e.g., Shell, Python) to automate MQ tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IBM MQ.
• Ensure the stability and performance of messaging systems.
• Provide support for on-call and after-hours issues as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in IBM MQ administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python).
• Knowledge of IBM MQ clustering and high availability.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• IBM MQ certification.
• Experience with other messaging systems (e.g., Kafka).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
