Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce security policies and filters.
• Architect WebSphere cells, clusters, and nodes.
• Automate repetitive tasks through scripts.
• Develop firewalls and multi-tiered architectures.
• Architect, test, and initiate upgrades and patches.
• Monitor application server performance and respond appropriately.
• Monitor systems capacity and performance, plan and execute disaster recovery procedures, and provide Tier 3 technical support.
• Maintain and update infrastructure documentation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in installation, maintenance, administration, and monitoring of WebSphere Software in a Linux/UNIX environment.
• Hands-on technical experience with software tools such as WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment/Base.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Ability to resolve connectivity issues, assist users, and debug problems effectively.
• Proficiency in proactive problem resolution using various monitoring and management systems.
• Knowledge of change management best practices in a complex hosting environment.
• Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills.
