Job Description

• Provide operational support for the production and non-prod MQ environments, including on-call
• Execute client requests for change, including Integration and decommission.
• Perform patching and vulnerability management.
• Perform maintenance such as certificate renewals.
• Manage external MQ gateway (Internet Pass-through)
• Support MQ infrastructure changes as required (environment decomms, onboarding as required)
• MQ expert. Familiar with all aspects of MQ administration including QM creation, patching, MQ object creation, security (OAM, certs and ciphers), channels and clustering.
• IIB and ACE administration (not development). Need at least two people with this skill. 
• Knowledge of Linux system admin concepts (do not need full-on sysadmins).
• Linux storage concepts (filesystems and mountpoints), kernel tuning, shell scripting, Unix commands such as df, find, ability to traverse the directory structure, cron, symlinks
• Proven experience of working on Tier 1 environments
• Familiarity with networking concepts, including NAT and firewalls
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (change & incident management specifically)
