We are looking for an experienced IBM DataStage Support Engineer to provide L2/L3 production support for ETL applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in IBM DataStage, Oracle, and SQL, along with experience in production monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, and batch job support.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for IBM DataStage ETL applications.
- Monitor daily ETL batch jobs and ensure successful completion within defined SLAs.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, job failures, and data discrepancies.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
- Monitor data loads, file transfers, scheduler jobs, and downstream system integrations.
- Coordinate with business users, application teams, database administrators, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
- Support release deployments, production migrations, and post-implementation validations.
- Handle service requests, incident tickets, problem tickets, and change requests in accordance with ITIL processes.
- Develop and maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, support documentation, and knowledge articles.
Candidate Requirements
- 8–12 years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 10 years preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in IBM DataStage production support.
- Good knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL queries.
- Experience in ETL batch processing and production issue resolution.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix shell scripting and Autosys is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a production support environment.
