Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain workflow applications using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)
• Model executable processes using IBM Integration Designer (IID)
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing workflows and integration components
• Follow company software development lifecycle processes to design, code, test, debug, and document application components
• Participate in design and architecture reviews; provide technical guidance and feedback
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and operational support materials
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards, including secure code practices based on OWASP and NIST guidelines
• Contribute to ETL design and development, including job recovery, logging, and performance optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with IBM BAW in medium to large-scale environments
• Hands-on experience designing and developing BAW workflows and BPM applications
• Strong proficiency in SQL (4+ years), with the ability to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize complex queries and stored procedures
• Experience with data modeling, mapping, and warehousing (relational and dimensional)
• Proven experience in ETL design and development, including best practices for performance, failover, and alerting
• Development background with Java/J2EE, and database management (DB2, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC)
• Experience with MuleSoft integration tools is a plus
• Previous experience in the banking, finance, or insurance industries is preferred
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., USDA RMA, PCI DSS, NYDFS CyberSecurity Regulation, FFIEC, CIS, NIST)
