Roles and Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain WebFOCUS Client components including InfoAssist, BI Portal, and ReportCaster.
• Manage user accounts, groups, and roles within the WebFOCUS Client security model.
• Configure security rules for access to folders, reports, dashboards, and portal pages.
• Support and organize WebFOCUS content—manage folders, domains, and portal pages.
• Oversee report scheduling, publishing, and distribution via ReportCaster.
• Migrate BI content across Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Troubleshoot user access, content delivery, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with BI developers to deploy and test new reports and dashboards.
• Monitor job executions, analyze logs, and ensure reliable report delivery.
• Assist in audits and compliance by documenting and reviewing security configurations.
• Support upgrades, patches, and configuration changes to the WebFOCUS Client environment.
• Provide training and basic report usage support to business users.

Required Technical Skills

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience administering WebFOCUS Client environments.
• In-depth knowledge of WebFOCUS architecture, including InfoAssist, BI Portal, and ReportCaster.
• Experience managing user security models, groups, and roles.
• Integration experience with LDAP/Active Directory and Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Experience working with WebFOCUS version 8207+ or 9.x.
• Understanding of WebFOCUS Reporting Server and DataMigrator (basic coordination only).
• Familiarity with Tomcat and/or IIS web servers.
• Exposure to cloud deployments in Azure or AWS environments.
• Scripting experience using Shell or PowerShell for task automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• IBI/WebFOCUS certifications
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance) with audit/compliance exposure
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments
