Responsibilities

• Implement and manage PingFederate solutions, including installation, configuration, integration, and support.
• Design and maintain federated identity solutions using protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
• Develop and support secure, scalable, and efficient IAM architectures across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Integrate enterprise applications and third-party services with PingFederate and related identity services.
• Automate IAM tasks and workflows using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or similar.
• Leverage REST APIs and web services for identity provisioning, token management, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams to ensure proper IAM configurations across firewalls, load balancers, and DNS.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of IAM policies aligned with Zero Trust security models.
• Stay current with IAM best practices, security trends, and technology innovations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with identity and access management (IAM), particularly federated identity systems.
• Hands-on expertise with PingFederate, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP).
• Experience with cloud-based IAM services such as AWS IAM, Azure AD, or Okta (preferred).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or other scripting tools.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, web service integrations, and middleware.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, load balancing, and DNS.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust principles for identity security.

Preferred Skills

• IAM certification (e.g., CIAM, Ping Identity certifications).
• Experience with PingOne, PingAccess, or PingDirectory.
• Background in DevOps or security engineering is a plus.
• Knowledge of compliance and governance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA).
