Job Description

As a (HIL) Validation Engineer you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing HIL testing systems for automotive embedded systems. The primary goal is to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of these systems under various real-world conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop HIL testing systems for automotive embedded systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Implement and validate communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and FlexRay in HIL systems.
  • Configure and calibrate HIL test benches to simulate various vehicle dynamics and environmental conditions.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures to validate the functionality and performance of automotive systems.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and researchers to improve HIL testing methodologies and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive standards and regulations, such as ISO 26262, and ensure compliance in HIL testing.
  • Present test results and findings to project stakeholders, providing recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
 
Qualifications
  • Hardware In Loop Testing on National Instrument test setup
  • Prior experience on Veristand & TestStand , Lab View is preferred (but similar HIL Validation experience on other toolchain like Control Desk, Automation Desk, can also be considered)
  • Experience in Test case development from software requirements, Test automation using TestStand, Issue Analysis
  • Development experience in MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow
  • Knowledge of SIL and MIL.
  • Knowledge of Requirements Engineering.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
