Roles and Responsibilities

• Support the Firmware Engineering Dock team in validating dock-related functionalities.
• Independently troubleshoot reported issues, performing general triage and debugging as necessary.
• Coordinate with development teams, architects, and project managers to resolve open issues.
• Collaborate with architects to set up proof-of-concept features and execute validation tests.
• Collect and analyze debug logs and data from various tools, including Logic Analyzer, USB Analyzer, PD Analyzer, and DP Aux Analyzer.
• Conduct testing in various network environments to ensure comprehensive validation.
• Provide weekly status reports on reported issues and progress, along with validation reports for proof-of-concept features for relevant stakeholders.

Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Highly proficient in Windows 10 and 11 environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
• Knowledge of USB/USB-C technologies and docking solutions.
• Experience with the Power Delivery (PD) protocol and DisplayPort protocol.
• Familiarity with network protocols and debugging tools.
• Proficient in using logic analyzers (e.g., Saleae), USB analyzers, PD analyzers, and DP Aux analyzers.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to review hardware schematics.
