Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead investigations of complex bugs across global teams (Michigan, Texas, California, Taiwan), driving timely resolutions.
  • Investigate hardware issues related to signal integrity, power integrity, and high-speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet).
  • Support high-power automotive design troubleshooting (PMICs, voltage regulators, thermal behavior).
  • Engage in hands-on hardware validation, using oscilloscopes, power measurement tools, and high-speed probing.
  • Maintain clear Jira documentation with traceability for hardware/software issues; contribute to diagnostic test documentation.
  • Serve as a bridge between hardware, systems, and distributed software teams across locations.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience in high-speed digital design (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, serializer/deserializer links).
  • Expertise in automotive ECU designs and troubleshooting signal/power integrity.
  • Experience in Central Compute, ADAS, or IVI environments (5+ years preferred).
  • Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware validation tools (oscilloscopes, power measurement).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with PMICs, voltage regulators, and thermal management in automotive designs.
  • Familiarity with Agile, V-Model, and Waterfall development processes.
