Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead investigations of complex bugs across global teams (Michigan, Texas, California, Taiwan), driving timely resolutions.
- Investigate hardware issues related to signal integrity, power integrity, and high-speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet).
- Support high-power automotive design troubleshooting (PMICs, voltage regulators, thermal behavior).
- Engage in hands-on hardware validation, using oscilloscopes, power measurement tools, and high-speed probing.
- Maintain clear Jira documentation with traceability for hardware/software issues; contribute to diagnostic test documentation.
- Serve as a bridge between hardware, systems, and distributed software teams across locations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in high-speed digital design (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, serializer/deserializer links).
- Expertise in automotive ECU designs and troubleshooting signal/power integrity.
- Experience in Central Compute, ADAS, or IVI environments (5+ years preferred).
- Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and documentation.
- Hands-on experience with hardware validation tools (oscilloscopes, power measurement).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PMICs, voltage regulators, and thermal management in automotive designs.
- Familiarity with Agile, V-Model, and Waterfall development processes.
