Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data pipelines and distributed applications using Hadoop, Spark (Java/PySpark), Hive, and HBase.
• Write efficient Core Java code for backend services.
• Automate workflows with Unix shell scripting and Autosys job scheduling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Use GIT for version control and maintain code quality.
• Apply banking domain knowledge to ensure compliance and security.
• Optimize job performance and troubleshoot issues.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, MapReduce, Spark, Hive).
• Proficiency in Spark (Java or PySpark), Core Java, and Hive.
• Strong Unix/Linux shell scripting skills.
• Experience with Autosys for job scheduling and automation.
• Familiar with GIT for version control and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of the banking domain is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
