Guidewire Development Lead – PolicyCenter

Key Technical/Functional Skills

• Guidewire Expertise: ACE Certified in PolicyCenter Configuration.

• Implementation Experience: Minimum 2 full life cycle PolicyCenter implementations in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines.

• Cloud & SaaS: Experience implementing PolicyCenter V10 in SaaS or migrating on-prem/self-managed PolicyCenter to SaaS model.

• Development & Design: Hands-on experience with PCFs, Business Rules, Data Models, and Gunits.

• Integration: Experience integrating PolicyCenter with external portals and using REST services, message queues, batch processes.

• Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Data Access platform.

• Programming: Proficient in GOSU.

• Domain Expertise: Strong P&C insurance domain knowledge, including digital technology implementations and integrations across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead PolicyCenter implementations and upgrades, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

• Design and develop PCFs, rules, data models, and unit tests (Gunits).

• Manage integrations between PolicyCenter and external portals or systems.

• Support cloud migration projects, including SaaS adoption for PolicyCenter.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.

• ACE Certification in Guidewire PolicyCenter.

• Strong hands-on expertise in GOSU, REST APIs, batch processes, and PolicyCenter integrations.

• Deep understanding of P&C insurance business processes.
