Job Description

We are seeking a Guidewire ClaimCenter Lead with strong expertise in P&C Insurance domain and hands-on experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations, upgrades, and integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading ClaimCenter projects, managing development teams, and ensuring successful delivery of end-to-end solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions.
  • Act as a technical and functional SME for ClaimCenter across the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and developers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Manage and mentor offshore/onshore teams of developers, analysts, and testers.
  • Ensure compliance with Guidewire best practices, coding standards, and project governance.
  • Drive integration of ClaimCenter with external systems such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Document Management, Payment Systems, and Third-Party Services.
  • Oversee defect management, issue resolution, and performance optimization.
  • Coordinate with QA teams to ensure test strategy, automation, and UAT readiness.
  • Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and design approvals.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.

 

Required Skills/Qualifications
  • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Guidewire ClaimCenter.
  • Strong experience in Guidewire Configuration, Integration (GOSU, Web Services, Messaging, Plugins, Rules, Batch Processes).
  • Hands-on expertise with GOSU programming language and Guidewire Studio.
  • Knowledge of Claim lifecycle processes (FNOL, Coverage, Reserves, Payments, Recoveries, Litigation, Subrogation, etc.).
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing offshore/onshore delivery models.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, GOSU, XML, SOAP/REST Web Services, Kafka/ESB integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Guidewire Certified Specialist / Certified Ace in ClaimCenter.
  • Experience with other Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter).
  • Exposure to cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure) and microservices architecture.
  • Prior experience in Insurance domain (P&C) is highly desirable.
