Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a high-level architecture for Guidewire implementations, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed architecture documentation, including system diagrams, data models, and integration patterns.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on best practices for Guidewire configuration and customization.
• Design and oversee the integration of Guidewire systems with other enterprise applications and external services.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Guidewire implementations to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Ensure that the Guidewire solutions adhere to best practices, industry standards, and organizational policies.
• Address and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during the implementation and operational phases.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for architecture, configurations, and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in Guidewire or related technologies is a plus.
• 12+ years of relevant experience with at least 8 years specifically working with Guidewire products (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter).
• Strong knowledge of the Guidewire software suite, including configuration, customization, and integration. Proficiency in Java, Gosu, XML, and SQL.
• Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
