Roles and Responsibilities

• Architect and implement comprehensive observability solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and related tools.
• Design and develop advanced Grafana dashboards, visualizations, and alerting frameworks to support real-time monitoring and SRE operations.
• Lead the integration of OpenTelemetry instrumentation, including metrics, logs, and traces across distributed systems.
• Evaluate, configure, and optimize monitoring platforms such as Grafana Cloud, Prometheus, Loki, Dynatrace, Splunk, or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and engineering teams to establish processes for data collection, aggregation, correlation, and analytics.
• Build scalable and resilient observability architectures across AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Drive automation and CI/CD best practices to enable continuous delivery of observability components and configurations.
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance requirements are integrated into observability pipelines and tooling.
• Provide guidance and mentorship on monitoring standards, instrumentation patterns, and operational dashboards.
• Troubleshoot system performance, application behavior, and infrastructure issues using observability data.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure Automation, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Grafana, dashboard design, and observability workflows.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Grafana Cloud, Prometheus, Loki, Dynatrace, Splunk, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, including instrumentation, data pipelines, and trace-based analysis.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration ecosystems.
• Familiarity with security, compliance, and governance in automated or cloud-native environments.
• Strong proficiency with scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
