Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Design and implement robust cloud architectures leveraging GCVE and GCE to meet business objectives.
Utilize GCVE to create and manage virtual engineering environments, streamline development workflows, and accelerate time-to-market.
Optimize GCE instances for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Manage and optimize infrastructure components such as virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases.
Lead migration projects to transition existing applications and workloads to the GCP environment, leveraging GCVE and GCE.
Develop and implement automation solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management within GCVE and GCE.
Monitor and optimize GCVE and GCE environments for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) within GCVE and GCE.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to GCVE, GCE, and cloud infrastructure.
Work closely with development teams, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver cloud-based solutions.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or cloud architecture.
Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, with a strong focus on GCVE and GCE.
In-depth knowledge of GCVE's capabilities for virtual engineering, development, and testing.
Expertise in managing GCE instances, including configuration, scaling, and optimization.
Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and storage concepts.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications related to Google Cloud Platform (e.g., GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and best practices.
