Roles and Responsibilities

• Ability to design, implement, and support scalable architecture and support large database replication implementations.
• Monitoring Exadata components like Database Server, Storage Cell Server, IB Switches, PDU, and ZFS Storage through OEM13c and using ILOM.
  
• Proactive monitoring of production DBs and provided Minimal Time Resolution.
• Troubleshooting and triage with quick response times(<15min), must be available on short notice should production issue arises.
• Design, implement, and support scalable architecture and support large database replication implementations.
• Involved in data migration projects end-to-end Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, and dependency.

Required Experience/Skills

• Hands-on experience with a minimum of 8 years.
• Expertise in Oracle Golden Gate replication (with Postgres as a source and multi-target (Oracle, Postgres, Redshift, Databricks).
• Strong Knowledge of UNIX, Oracle/PL SQL, Git, DevOps, CICD, Agile, Scrum, and scripting skills (shell ok, but Python is preferred).
• knowledge of Designing, Engineering, and Managing Oracle RAC One Node infrastructure.
• Must have great attention to detail in planning and technical documentation.
• Experience with various replication products and various data platforms (OLTP, Data Warehouse, and Databricks).
• Proficiency in Engineering and Managing Replication technologies like Oracle Golden Gate, and Oracle Stream.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix command line and vi editor.
