Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts and frameworks for GIS applications and spatial data workflows.
• Execute automated tests to validate GIS functionalities, data integrity, and system performance.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
• Conduct integration testing of GIS components and interfaces to ensure seamless interaction and data flow.
• Implement and maintain regression test suites to support ongoing software releases and updates.
• Generate comprehensive test reports, including test results, coverage metrics, and recommendations for improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Application Development experience on GIS Products like ESRI-ArcGIS / Precisely-MapInfo / MapBox / QGIS / Geoserver etc.
• Good Experience in Core Java (JAVA 7 or 8), and Python.
• Experience in writing the Automation scripts and manual testing Good.
• Hands-on experience in GIS web application test automation.
• Experience in Selenium, TestNG, node.js, and Protractor framework.
• Good knowledge of SOAP UI and Jenkins configuration.
• Good knowledge of database (Oracle, PostGIS) concepts.
• Good knowledge of web services concepts.
