Geomatics Data Processing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Process and analyze LiDAR data, including point cloud classification, filtering, and quality assurance.
• Generate orthomosaics, digital elevation models, and other geospatial products from aerial imagery.
• Perform strip alignment workflows and ensure geospatial data accuracy.
• Utilize GIS tools such as FME, QGIS, and Global Mapper for data manipulation, conversion, and analysis.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate geospatial data processing and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of precise and actionable geospatial information.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LiDAR processing, raster imagery, and orthomosaic generation.
• Strong understanding of geospatial accuracy, especially in aerial remote sensing contexts.
• Proficiency in FME, QGIS, and Global Mapper.
• Advanced Python skills for geospatial data processing and automation.
