Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-native applications on GCP, ensuring high scalability, security, and performance.
• Configure and manage core GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Pub/Sub.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Cloud Build, and other automation tools.
• Monitor and optimize GCP services for cost efficiency and performance improvements.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across GCP services.
• Develop and maintain GCP security policies to ensure data and application security.
• Create and implement GCP cost optimization strategies.
• Develop disaster recovery plans for GCP environments and ensure business continuity.
• Establish GCP best practices and ensure they are followed across all cloud solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive GCP documentation.
• Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers on design, development, and implementation patterns.
• Conduct architectural design and review sessions with external clients, ensuring successful outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a similar cloud architect role.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataprep, etc.).
• 5+ years of cloud experience with services like GCP, AWS, or MS Azure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft .Net, C#, Restful Web Services, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Strong technical expertise in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• 10+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL and related technologies.
• Experience in reverse engineering enterprise applications for cloud-based implementations.
• Strong experience in designing and conducting architectural design and review sessions with clients.
• Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with containerization using Kubernetes or similar services.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, Supply Chain Management, and Sales forecasting is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python/PySpark is a plus.
