Responsibilities

• Address emergent issues in data ingestion pipelines to ensure smooth data flow.
• Collaborate with engineering partners to enhance the functionality and scalability of data pipelines.
• Automate processes and create runbooks to minimize manual maintenance and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement proactive alerting mechanisms to monitor and maintain the reliability of data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and reliability issues in data workflows.

Requirements

• Experience with PHP or the ability to ramp up quickly.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, managing, and optimizing data.
• Familiarity with BigQuery and experience optimizing data ingestion pipelines.
• Proven experience identifying and automating routine tasks to improve efficiency.
• Strong experience in building and optimizing data pipelines.
• Familiarity with the Payments and e-commerce space is a plus.
