We are seeking an FTZ Coordinator to support Foreign Trade Zone operations by tracking inbound materials, ensuring customs compliance, and coordinating timely movement of goods from ports to the Schenectady site.
Responsibilities
- Track and monitor parts entering and exiting the FTZ from ports to Schenectady
- Maintain daily inventory status including arrival dates, location, customs status, and shipment details
- Coordinate with FTZ administrators, customs brokers, ports, vessel lines, and carriers
- Ensure timely clearance and transportation of materials (within defined timelines)
- Identify and resolve inventory leakage and documentation issues
- Work with receiving and operations teams to correct FTZ paperwork discrepancies
- Support customer fulfillment and logistics execution
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of logistics experience
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and resolve operational issues
