Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of automated Email, SMS, and Autocall messaging solutions, using technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, HTML, and templating languages like Handlebars or FreeMarker.
• Gather and document business and technical requirements for messaging solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Ensure that all messaging solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices, particularly around data privacy and security.
• Track and analyze the performance of automated messaging campaigns, providing data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Manage a team of developers and technical staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Proactively identify potential roadblocks and escalate issues to management to ensure project timelines are met without delays.
• Ensure all front-end code is optimized for speed, accessibility, and responsiveness across multiple devices and platforms.

Required Technical Skills/Experience

• Proficient in JavaScript, JSON, and HTML coding from scratch.
• Experience with tools such as Dreamweaver, WordPress, and other front-end development platforms.
• Hands-on experience working with messaging platforms for Email, SMS, and Autocall systems, including integration with APIs.
• Familiarity with templating languages like Handlebars and FreeMarker for dynamic content rendering.
• Experience with Amazon Pinpoint or other cloud communication platforms is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in using Git or other version control systems to manage code changes and collaborations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with unified communications systems and technologies (e.g., video conferencing, chat integrations).
• Familiarity with server-side scripting languages (Node.js, PHP, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with mobile-first design and responsive web development.
