Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop FPGA-based digital systems using VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog.
  • Define architecture and implement logic designs based on system requirements.
  • Perform simulation, synthesis, place-and-route, and timing analysis.
  • Conduct hardware debugging and bring-up using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and systems engineers.
  • Integrate FPGA designs with embedded processors, memory interfaces, and communication protocols.
  • Document design specifications, test plans, and verification reports.
  • Support FPGA-based system validation and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and tools to enhance design efficiency.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience including 3+ years in FPGA design and development.
  • Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog and FPGA design tools (Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, ModelSim, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of digital logic design, timing constraints, and hardware interfaces (PCIe, DDR, SPI, UART, etc.).
  • Experience with simulation, functional verification, and debugging tools.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and integrating FPGA with microcontrollers or processors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
