Roles and Responsibilities

• Following the change management process, perform all upgrades to ensure firewall and VPN deployments are on current and supported software versions.
  
• Work with the network operation team to support the entire NOC environment. (Firewall/VPN/Route/Switch).
  
• Respond to requests-for-service and operational issue situations that develop for all above environments.
  
• Ensure all documentation of supported systems is up to date and accurate, creating any missing documentation, as necessary.
• Perform conversions of policy and configuration of existing firewall vendor platforms to the as-yet-selected new firewall vendor platform.
  
• Perform conversion of VPN services to the as-yet-selected SASE VPN-as-a-Service vendor platform.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• 8+ years of IT customer service experience, including incident resolution and direct customer communication.
• Knowledge of how to develop security policies that define which traffic is allowed to pass through a firewall.
• Experience must include medium to large-size deployments with multi-tenancy experience preferred.
• Experience with TCP/IP routing protocols.
