We are looking for a DataStage Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience with developing, configuring, and deploying DataStage jobs.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Experience in ETL DataStage and Snowflake development
• Experience in designing, and developing highly scalable distributed data processing systems and Data Warehouse.
• Experience in creating a data warehouse, design-related extraction, loading data functions, testing designs, data modeling, and ensure the smooth running of applications
• Analyzing data, identifying gaps, issues, patterns, and trends
• Analyze application dependencies and conduct an impact assessment of changes
• Experience in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing stored procedures and standard DWH+ETL concepts
• Demonstrates the ability to design, code and test ETL routines Should clearly articulate the processing difference between ETL/ELT
• Understands the principles of good ETL design
• Knowledge in Cloud technologies- AWS / GCP / AZURE
• Strong in DataStage and Shell Scripting
• Strong SQL ( Transformation/Analytical Functions)
• Experience with executing projects in Agile environments (Kanban and Scrum).
• Experience with shell scripting, Python, control M
• Good understanding of database design concepts - Transactional / Datamart / Data warehouse, etc.
• Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritizes tasks, and quickly adjusts in a rapidly changing environment.
• Extremely good interpersonal skills with working with cross-functional teams located across geographies High level of dedication, initiative, vision, and enthusiasm Professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.
