Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and design ETL processes accordingly.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines, ensuring the efficient and reliable extraction, transformation, and loading of data.
• Perform data quality checks and implement data validation procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Monitor and optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures and data issues in a timely manner.
• Work with various data sources, including databases, APIs, and flat files.
• Create and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and data lineage.
• Stay current with ETL and data integration best practices and emerging technologies.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior members of the data engineering team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience as an ETL Engineer or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica, Apache Spark).
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
• Familiarity with data modeling and schema design.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their ETL services is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
