Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze current code in informatica, SQL, Unix scripts.
• Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities
• Documents all technical and system specifications documents for all ETL processes and perform unit tests on all processes
• Able to mentor and guide offshore resources ( Not required for Offshore resources).

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Experience in implementing the data solutions on MS Azure using Azure Data Factory, Synapse or Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
• In-depth understanding of various storage services offered by Azure.
• Good experience in data extraction ( Full data + Incremental data) strategies from source systems.
• Experience with data process Orchestration, end-to-end design and build process of Near-Real Time and Batch Data Pipelines.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Prior Experience on any of the ETL Technologies like Informatica Power Centre, SSIS
• Experience with systems like a relational database SQL Server, DB2 , Mainframe database, VSAM files, flat files, Sequential files.
