We are seeking an Environment Management Engineer to provide L1/L2 support for Development and QA environments. This role focuses on environment stability, operational support, and coordination with application teams during testing and deployment cycles.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 support for Development and QA environments.
- Handle service requests such as access provisioning, application restarts, data refreshes, and batch job monitoring.
- Execute runbook-based tasks and perform routine health checks.
- Monitor system dashboards and alerts; troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.
- Support application teams during testing cycles and deployments.
- Maintain accurate tickets, documentation, and operational records.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and onboarding activities.
- Work in rotational shifts, including weekends or extended hours when required.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in application, infrastructure, or environment support.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
- Understanding of incident, problem, and request management processes.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and operational support workflows.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to learn middleware, automation, and environment management tools.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Dev/QA environment management practices.
- Basic scripting or automation knowledge is a plus.
- Experience working in ITIL-based support environments.
