Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct network scanning and implement best practices for vulnerability assessment.
- Implement and manage agent scanning protocols, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Configure and maintain Universal Repositories to streamline vulnerability management processes.
- Perform CSEL auditing to identify and address security vulnerabilities effectively.
- Lead vulnerability remediation efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks promptly.
- Manage the upgrading and patching of Tenable products to ensure system integrity and compliance.
- Serve as the primary liaison with Tenable vendors, addressing product deficiencies and anomalies promptly.
- Manage user accounts, groups, and agent host groups within Tenable environments efficiently.
Required Qualifications/Skills
- Prior experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
- Experience in enterprise security application deployment and administration.
- Bachelor's Degree in technology or other related field.
- Work experience in Information Security and Business/Risk Management.
- Familiarity with network security, NIST/FISMA standards, and SIEM platforms.
- Knowledge of the NIST Risk Management Framework (NIST SP 800-53).
- Understanding of Security Assertion, Markup Language, and client-server authentication.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong task prioritization skills and excellent documentation abilities.
