Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct network scanning and implement best practices for vulnerability assessment.
• Implement and manage agent scanning protocols, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Configure and maintain Universal Repositories to streamline vulnerability management processes.
• Perform CSEL auditing to identify and address security vulnerabilities effectively.
• Lead vulnerability remediation efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks promptly.
• Manage the upgrading and patching of Tenable products to ensure system integrity and compliance.
• Serve as the primary liaison with Tenable vendors, addressing product deficiencies and anomalies promptly.
• Manage user accounts, groups, and agent host groups within Tenable environments efficiently.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Prior experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
• Experience in enterprise security application deployment and administration.
• Bachelor's Degree in technology or other related field.
• Work experience in Information Security and Business/Risk Management.
• Familiarity with network security, NIST/FISMA standards, and SIEM platforms.
• Knowledge of the NIST Risk Management Framework (NIST SP 800-53).
• Understanding of Security Assertion, Markup Language, and client-server authentication.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong task prioritization skills and excellent documentation abilities.
