Roles and Responsibilities

• Define and drive the enterprise data architecture vision and roadmap, aligned with business and IT strategies.
• Design and implement end-to-end data solutions across cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Architect modern data platforms using technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Talend, and data virtualization tools.
• Lead the development of data models including normalized, dimensional, and data vault modeling approaches.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and solution architects to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Conduct architecture assessments and identify improvements to current data ecosystems.
• Lead data transformation engagements, helping clients modernize legacy systems and adopt cloud-native architectures.
• Support presales activities, including opportunity shaping, solution proposals, and client presentations for large-scale data and analytics deals.
• Advise client leadership (CXOs, Heads of Data & Analytics) on data strategy, architecture best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Ensure architectural compliance, security, scalability, and governance standards across data initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture and solution design.
• Proven expertise in data warehousing, data integration, big data, and analytics platforms.
• At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in cloud-based data architecture (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong experience with data modeling and data engineering principles.
• Familiarity with modern data stack technologies and cloud-native tools.
• Effective communicator with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in relevant cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Data Analytics, etc.).
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks like TOGAF or DAMA-DMBOK.
