Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and engineering teams to translate business needs into comprehensive, robust technical designs.
• Assist in architectural design and implementation of software components, features, and modules, ensuring compliance with architectural standards and principles.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to support teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure system stability and performance.
• Ensure all solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable within their respective domains.
• Contribute to the organization’s strategic vision by providing architectural guidance and recommending platforms for future initiatives.
• Lead and manage multiple architecture engagements, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve key objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data and Intelligence, or related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven track record directing complex, large-scale architecture initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, business units, and regulated environments.
• Deep understanding of IT, OT, domain, and business architecture.
• Strong knowledge of railroad or broader transportation logistics, including operational workflows such as dispatch, scheduling, and asset management.
• Expertise in networking, cloud computing (Azure, AWS), and on-premise infrastructure.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work effectively in integrated, cross-functional teams.
