We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Hardware Wearable Product Validation Team. This role involves overseeing testing and validation activities for our innovative wearable technology products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in hardware engineering, proven leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of product validation principles.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and review comprehensive validation strategies to ensure products meet quality, functionality, and reliability standards.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks in product development and validation.
- Develop and maintain automated testing infrastructure and tools to improve testing efficiency.
- Collaborate with software teams to create automated testing scripts and frameworks.
- Develop training plans to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for hardware issues identified during validation.
- Evaluate and enhance validation techniques to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines.
- Develop and track resource allocation plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in hardware engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in hardware product testing and validation, preferably with wearable technologies.
- Experience in leading large-scale teams
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and product development processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in using validation tools and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in functional domains such as Audio, Camera, Display, or Connectivity.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Program management experience is a plus.
