Role Description

This job involves developing and using system requirements to design, develop, and test software components used in machine control platforms, engine control platforms, display, and telematics platforms. Specific responsibilities include requirements development and analysis, software design, software implementation, interface between software layers, and development/execution of test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing and leading the requirements, design, development, & test of network communication and foundational information software used in embedded systems.
• Develop embedded ‘C’ and/or C++ code software solutions to meet system requirements.
• Work on project to design, code and testing of software in C or C++.
• Additional responsibilities may include interfaces between hardware and software as well as evaluating operational performance of an overall system.
• The software components must comply with the software architecture standards and all work will be performed as part of the existing team following a common process. The software will include components for Data Link and Common Services

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Minimum three year's experience of design and coding of C or C++.
• Knowledge of machine systems or mechanical knowledge.
• Great communication and teamwork
• Problem solving skills
• Customer service and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
