Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software for embedded systems that run on hardware platforms.
• Write clean, efficient code in programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Work on distributed systems and address the challenges associated with them, ensuring reliable communication and data handling.
• Develop software in a Linux environment, utilizing tools and practices suitable for embedded development.
• Implement and troubleshoot networking protocols including UDP, TCP/IP, AMQP, DHCP, DNS, and REST.
• Ensure robust network communication for embedded applications.
• Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker for application deployment and management.
• Implement CI/CD practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Leverage AWS services to enhance embedded applications and ensure seamless integration with cloud infrastructure.

Required Experience/Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on embedded systems.
• Proven experience with programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and their associated challenges.
• Experience developing software in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with networking protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, AMQP, DHCP, DNS, REST).
• Hands-on experience developing software for embedded hardware platforms.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker), CI/CD processes, and Kubernetes.
• Background in AWS services and cloud technologies.
