Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software for energy management systems, including applications such as building automation, smart grids, and renewable energy systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues using debugging tools and techniques.
• Developing library software while utilizing system requirements to design, develop, and test.
• Software Activities are assigned and working with an architect, completed, and merged into the mainline library release. 
• Development of embedded software features in the C programming language and Matlab/Simulink to meet system requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• 4+ years of industry experience in embedded control software development.
• Knowledge of diesel engine control and operation.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
• Experience with the following tools: Git, Clearcase, Trace 32 Debugger, CANalyzer, and Cat ET Service Tool.
• Experience with testing methodologies and tools such as JUnit, NUnit, or PyUnit.
• Familiarity with energy management systems, including building automation, smart grids, and renewable energy systems
