Roles and Responsibilities

• Clarify product requirements and ensure alignment with relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in the creation of validation plans and define acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate existing validation controls and standard test procedures to mitigate risks effectively.
• Execute and/or coordinate product tests using HIL equipment with physical control ECU.
• Analyze test results and provide clear conclusions based on findings.
• Document test results with traceability to ensure clarity and transparency.
• Track product development issues from identification to resolution.
• Communicate technical findings and information to team members and other business units.
• Generate and present comprehensive reports on validation thoroughness, status, and test results.
• Innovate and implement improvements for testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with HIL system testing, including system setup and maintenance.
• Expertise in testing service tools and remote configuration of products.
• Proficiency in developing test automation scripts, specifically using Python.
• Basic understanding of Machine and Engine ECU’s, including software update processes.
• Familiarity with Machine Datalink architecture, particularly SAE J1939.
