Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering design, project management, and construction oversight for utility and industrial projects.
• Work in high-voltage environments, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Manage and lead electrical design projects through all phases, from concept to commissioning.
• Provide engineering solutions for electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and other electrical components.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the technical integrity of designs.
• Interpret and apply relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations to electrical design and construction activities.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support during the commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Oversee equipment testing, maintenance, and failure mode evaluations to ensure asset reliability.
• Take ownership of challenges and work proactively to identify and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• A 4-year BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited curriculum.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, project design, and construction, with an emphasis on high-voltage systems.
• Strong background in the utility, oil and gas, switchgear, refineries, or industrial sectors.
• Proven experience in taking ownership of problems and delivering effective solutions.
• Familiarity with electrical components and systems such as transformers, breakers, and protection systems in high-voltage environments.
