Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and oversee electrical systems for skid packaging, ensuring integration with mechanical components and adherence to project specifications.
• Manage cabling design and installation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Contribute to the electrical design and implementation for large BOP systems, focusing on safety, reliability, and efficiency.
• Define electrical instruments and equipment required for 60Hz offshore operations, including ATEX-compliant components.
• Identify and define electrical loops to be removed and new loops to be implemented.
• Ensure that MCC and UCP layouts comply with operational and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of [4] years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on skid packaging, cabling, and large BOP projects.
• Experience with 60Hz offshore operations and ATEX regulations.
• Proficiency in defining and managing electrical loops, MCC, and UCP design.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment from companies such as Woodward and Basler Systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of generator protection systems and local grid integration.
• Strong skills in electrical design software and documentation tools.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during assembly and installation.
• Experience in the oil & gas industry is highly desirable.
