Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate independently and as part of a team to develop design and technical solutions for electrical systems.
• Contribute to all phases of project development, providing Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) design support with minimal supervision.
• Assist in performing photometric studies using lighting design software.
• Lead multi-discipline coordination to develop equipment general arrangements, one-line diagrams, tie-in lists, and material takeoffs.
• Drive process improvements and develop workflows/templates to enhance design productivity.
• Support code analysis for applicable standards, including NEC, IECC, and NFPA.
• Gain hands-on experience and improve skills through construction observation and administration.
• Produce construction drawings for the I&C discipline, including but not limited to:
  • Plan drawings for instrument and control panel locations.
  • Raceway layouts for conduit and cable tray sizing and routing.
  • Low-voltage power distribution (up to 600V), one-line diagrams, lighting, lighting control, electrical circuits, raceways, grounding, and data/communications systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical design or related field.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of SKM or equivalent electrical design software.
• Familiarity with UL508A standard for industrial control panel design and construction.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and well-organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
