Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications that interact with Elasticsearch clusters.
• Define and implement data modeling and indexing strategies for optimized search and query performance.
• Build robust search and analytics applications using Python and Elasticsearch.
• Develop automation scripts and custom tools to streamline Elasticsearch operations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to Elasticsearch cluster performance, stability, and scalability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored search solutions.
• Integrate and leverage Elasticsearch ecosystem tools such as Kibana, Logstash, and Beats for data ingestion, monitoring, and visualization.
• Document processes, architectures, and best practices related to Elasticsearch implementations.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of Elasticsearch architecture, configuration, and management practices.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with a focus on integrating and customizing Elasticsearch-based applications.
• Proven experience with data modeling, schema design, and indexing techniques for large-scale search systems.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON data formats.
• Familiarity with the Elasticsearch ecosystem, including Kibana, Logstash, and Beats.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with automating Elasticsearch tasks and building reusable components using Python.
