EITS Security Architect

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
* 10+ years of IT experience with at least 7 years in Cybersecurity, Security Architecture, and Solution Design.
* Strong knowledge of infrastructure, application, and security architectures.
* Experience with risk management, compliance, audit standards, and secure configuration management.
* Deep knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH, NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27002, and PCI-DSS.
* Knowledge of encryption technologies, vulnerability management, and security best practices.
* Strong understanding of network security architecture, TCP/IP, OSI model, defense-in-depth, and network protocols.
* Experience with IAM technologies including Active Directory, Federation, MFA, and PKI.
* Experience supporting Windows, Linux, UNIX, and macOS environments.
* Knowledge of software engineering principles and IT supply chain security.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Design and assess secure infrastructure and application architectures.
* Conduct security reviews, risk assessments, and architecture evaluations.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry security standards.
* Recommend and implement security controls to mitigate identified risks.
* Support vulnerability management, audit activities, and compliance initiatives.
* Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams on secure solution design.
* Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and architecture documentation.
* Participate in security projects and provide technical security guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

* CISSP, CISM, GSEC, CEH, or equivalent security certifications.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and within fast-paced team environments.
* High degree of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
