Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain EDI solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI) to support business transactions with trading partners.
• Configure and monitor EDI workflows, maps, and communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN).
• Analyze and troubleshoot EDI transmission issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business impact.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather requirements and support onboarding of new trading partners.
• Develop and manage translation maps using Sterling Map Editor or similar tools for X12, EDIFACT, XML, and flat file formats.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration guides, and process flow diagrams.
• Monitor EDI system performance and implement optimization strategies for improved throughput and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies related to data security and trading partner agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, logistics, finance) to align EDI solutions with business processes.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and support of Sterling Integrator upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–7 years of experience working with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
• Proficiency in EDI standards such as X12, EDIFACT, XML, and flat file formats.
• Experience with communication protocols including AS2, FTP/SFTP, and VAN.
• Strong understanding of EDI workflows, business processes, and B2B integration strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Sterling Map Editor or similar mapping tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
