Duck Creek Billing Developer

We are actively looking for Senior Duck Creek Billing Developers with strong hands-on development experience in the Duck Creek platform and P&C Insurance domain.

Duck Creek Policy Developers with solid hands-on Duck Creek Billing experience are also encouraged to apply.

Required Skills:

·       8+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Duck Creek Billing development.

·       Strong expertise in Duck Creek Billing configuration, customization, workflows, integrations, and enhancements.

·       Excellent technical skills in C#, .NET, SQL, and APIs/web services.

·       Strong understanding of P&C Insurance billing processes, including invoicing, payments, billing plans, adjustments, collections, and reconciliation.

·       Experience integrating Duck Creek Billing with Policy Administration Systems and external applications.

·       Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, debugging, production support, and performance optimization.

·       Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

·       Important: Candidates with a Duck Creek Policy background are welcome, provided they have significant hands-on development experience in Duck Creek Billing. Policy-only experience will not be sufficient.

Responsibilities:

·       Developed and customized billing applications using Duck Creek Billing to support insurance policy billing and payment processing.

·       Configured billing plans, payment schedules, installment options, fees, and billing rules based on business requirements.

·       Integrated Duck Creek Billing with policy administration, payment gateways, and external systems using APIs and web services.

·       Developed and maintained business rules, workflows, and configuration components to automate billing operations.

·       Troubleshot application issues, resolved billing discrepancies, and performed unit testing, integration testing, and defect fixes.

·       Collaborated with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements, support deployments, and ensure compliance with Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance business processes.
