Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design of SACM and Discovery solutions within ServiceNow.
• Develop and implement Discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and integrations to support accurate and scalable CMDB health.
• Provide expert-level guidance on CSDM framework, CMDB data modeling, and configuration item (CI) relationships.
• Design, implement, and optimize Cloud Discovery for AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architecture and best-practice solutions.
• Conduct assessments of current discovery processes and recommend enhancements for performance, coverage, and data accuracy.
• Assist in defining governance, data quality, and compliance standards for SACM/CMDB.
• Partner with cross-functional teams—including infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams—to ensure accurate CI population.
• Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and remediation of discovery-related issues.
• Produce architectural documentation, design diagrams, and technical guidance for implementation teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience with ServiceNow, with deep expertise in Discovery and SACM.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cloud Discovery (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expert understanding of CSDM and CMDB architecture, CI class modeling, and data relationships.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure components—compute, storage, networking, containers, middleware, etc.
• Experience with on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
• Ability to provide architectural leadership and guide technical teams through solution delivery.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and ServiceNow platform components.
